2025

Positive teams and features expanded as the company acquired Mailtastic, Surfer, and Sigilum, with a total of 60 new members within the year. Positive also reinforced its C-suite with a new CMO and CTO to support the newly restructured governance.

2023

Positive strengthens its position in the French Tech ecosystem and accelerates its growth. The company acquires 4DEM, an Italian specialist in email and SMS campaign delivery. It also brings Signitic, noCRM.io, User.com, and Mailingwork into the group. Together, these acquisitions expand its capabilities and reinforce its European presence.

2022

Sarbacane Group becomes Positive, a name that reflects the company’s commitment to progress and optimism. To support its ambitions, it raises €110M, welcoming the European fund EMZ alongside IDI (already onboard since 2020). Positive also strengthens its data capabilities with the acquisition of Marketing 1BY1, a Customer Data Platform (CDP).

2021

Sarbacane Group continues its expansion with the acquisition of rapidmail, an email marketing specialist active in the German-speaking market since 2008. This move reinforces its ambition to become a leading European player in digital marketing. The group also doubles its revenue in two years, reaching €22M.

2020

Sarbacane Group acquires Datananas, a company specializing in automated email prospecting, expanding its portfolio of B2B marketing tools for businesses.

2018

Sarbacane Group surpasses the symbolic milestone of €10 million in revenue across all business units. It now enables over 10,000 customers in over 90 countries.

2016

The team grows to 80 people across its offices in Hem and Barcelona. The company reaches €8 million in revenue and exceeds 7,000 customers.

2013

Sarbacane Software evolves into a diversified group with the launch of Getinbox, a pre-mailing campaign preview service and the only rendering solution compatible with the email systems used in France. The group reaches €6 million in revenue and surpasses 40 employees. This period also marks a change in the company’s shareholding: Kaloma Capital, owned by Mathieu TARNUS, one of the original members of the Sarbacane founding team at GOTO Software, completes the acquisition of GOTO Software.

2011

Sarbacane celebrates its 10th anniversary, surpassing one billion emails sent on behalf of its customers and reaching €5 million in revenue. The team grows beyond 30 employees, and the company begins its international expansion by opening a subsidiary in Barcelona, Spain.

2009

Revenue doubles to reach €2.5 million, and the company grows to a team of 10 employees.
